It would be easy to bask in the glory of the week one victory over the Rams. How sweet it would be, to look back and re-live the excitement of the Cordarrelle Patterson rushing touchdown, the Harrison Smith interception returned for a touchdown, the Josh Robinson interception to put the nail in the coffin.
Instead, I think I will reflect on the good decisions made in the last year to get us to where we are. Players that have moved on are being replaced with younger players who have the ability and athleticism to take us to another level. Coaches and coordinators have been put in situations where they can be successful with players who can support the system they are building.
Way to go, Vikes! Let's see what happens in our new home field next week!
SKOL!
